Jacqueline M. Beckett (Jacqui)

Beckett Ethics & Compliance International was founded and is managed by Jacqueline M. Beckett (Jacqui).  Jacqui’s extensive knowledge of ethics and compliance stems from her experience in developing ethics and compliance programs from the ground up and managing them for global mining and telecommunication companies.

Prior to Launching Beckett Ethics & Compliance International, Jacqui was with Newmont Mining Corporation, a publicly traded global hard rock mining company for over eleven years and CenturyLink, a telecommunications company, for four years.  Prior to her corporate work, she practiced law in two law firms and clerked for two United States federal judges.  She has served as a working member of the Partnering Against Corruption Initiative of the World Economic Forum’s board of advisors and an active member of their task force.  She is currently assisting that organization in the revision of its principles.  She has authored numerous articles and lectured on ethics and compliance and practical global program implementation at numerous seminars.

Jacqui earned a bachelor’s degree in 1988 from Duke University where she studied political science and comparative area studies, a cross-disciplinary major where she compared cultures and people’s activities in different parts of the world.  In 1993, she earned a J.D., doctorate degree in law, from Georgetown University, and is a licensed attorney in the United States.
